33,000th Vizion Enabled Ballast Shipped!

Launched just over 18 months ago Zodion has shipped the 33,000th Vizion enabled ballast. These join over 50,000 'A' series ballasts already in use with many streetlighting authorities.

The Vizion enabled ballast can be used as a standard electronic ballast, conventionally controlled, but with the latent ability to be connected into a Centrally Managed System (CMS) at a later date. Full dimming control is obtained by simply connecting the Vizion ballast node !

Zodion Launches Its Vizion

Zodion Limited has successfully developed a brand new technology aimed at maximising the environmental and cost efficiency of local authority street lighting.

Zodion Limited has continued its commitment with developing innovative solutions by releasing a new Central Management System called Vizion.

Launched at the HEMSA Exhibition in October 2006 Vizion allows engineers to effectively and precisely co-ordinate the management of street light usage based on prevailing conditions.

Zodion Managing Director John Fox commented: "This is a state-of-the-art solution that gives local authorities much greater control over their lighting needs and, as a result, reduces costs and harm to the environment."
